Why this one?
I've always found the biblical story of Lucifer to be interesting, as I'ts a tale meant to deter questioning biblical text and canon, meant to be cautionary. In this version, he's a guarded, awkward, dare I say silly(?), lovely guy! You can really tell he's meant to evoke a vibe of a dad who used to be a part of the country club and a gated community, so he's still sheltered and holds a lot of discomfort around those who are different, but he's starting to come around and trying to keep an open mind. His look really helps solidify that he is somewhat of an outcast in Hell, but still doesn't fit in with the Winners up high either. I'm excited to see more of his story! I think his lines are the funniest in the whole first season. He's trying so hard and it's both goofy and endearing. He's also seperated from his wife, and that's a bit of a less explored situation in shows like this, so I'm hoping we can explore this even more in season 2. Also, to be a lil freak on main, he's short and partially monsterous looking and can be very demonic looking and acting, which to be real I find fine as hell. I love a cute, evil, mentally troubled person/demon/angel/whatever.
